The Youth Organisations participating in the 7th Meeting of European CYOs held in Barcelona on November 1 st and 2 nd 2008. Under the Slogan “Let’s Fight for Social Transformation in Europe! For Socialism! Declare: The events that have taken place over the last year are a confirmation of the imperialistic and antidemocratic character of the European Union.
The Communist Youth Union of Spain (UJCE) along with “Joves Comunistes”of Cataluña (JC) will be holding the 7th European Meeting of Communist Youth Organizations in Barcelona on November 1st and 2nd.
The Slogan chosen for this year's meeting will be: “Let's Fight for Social Transformation in Europe, For Socialism”.
The topics set for discussion will be the most recent attacks to the working and student youth in Europe (such as the developments of the Bologna Process, the Return Directive, The Working Time Directive, etc.) and the situation created by the latest imperialist and militaristic developments in Europe (Caucasus Crisis, Missile Shield, US Bases, Independence of Kosovo, etc.).
KNE will attend with a delegation in this important meeting of the European communist movement.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CC OF KNE
 The Central Council of KNE greets the mobilization of youth movement that is strengthened this period in Greece as well as in other European countries. This mobilization is promising and a hopeful evidence for the future.
The mass participation of young workers in strike demonstrations organized by PAME (All Workers Militant Front) throughout Greece on the 21st of October is very important taking in mind that they overcame the employer's intimidation, their bogeyman invocation of the impact of the crisis.

KNE-WFDY SOLIDARITY ACTION IN BALKANS
“For Peace in Balkans we struggle against NATO, bases and imperialism”
We aim this Solidarity Action to be developed in the period of time around the memorandum of 9 years by the beginning of war in Yugoslavia and Summit of NATO in Bucharest, Romania on April 2008. We organize this activity on 3 – 6 of April 2008. We start from Thessaloniki on 2nd of April with a mass demonstration outside US consulate of Salonica (Greece)
These are the countries that we will visit as Solidarity Action: Serbia / Croatia / Romania. We keep the ex-Yugoslavian character of the initiative and besides we combine the presence of WFDY in Balkans with its answer to the Summit of NATO in Bucharest, Romania (2 – 4 April).

Заключительная декларация семинара CENA по высшему образованию

 10-11 января в Брюсселе успешно прошёл семинар CENA по высшему образованию. Тема семинара: "Интенсификация борьбы за доступное и свободное высшее образование, против стратегии крупного капитала". Мы, участники, делегаты нижеследующих коммунистических, антиимпериалистических и прогрессивных молодёжных организаций считаем, что в сфере высшего образования уже полным ходом осуществляется всеобщее преступление, основанное на приказах ЕС и правительства каждой страны. Это преступление является результатом необходимости для крупного капитала и спроса на приспособление высшего образования и завтрашней рабочей силы для производства дешёвых, гибких и легко поддающихся эксплуатации выпускников и учёных, для ещё большей манипуляции и использования нового поколения молодёжи. В каждой из наших стран мы уже сейчас видим ужасные последствия так называемого Болонского процесса, реализации Европейской зоны высшего образования, и хорошо известной Лиссабонской стратегии в сфере высшего образования. CENA- EUROPEAN MEETING OF COMMUNIST ANTIMPERIALIST AND PROGRESSIVE YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS ON HIGHER EDUCATION
"Let's intensify our struggle for public and free higher education in the universities against the strategy of big businesses "
This meeting , will be held on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 of January 2008, in Bruxelles ,
As it is known the big European capital is pushing through out Europe every day the reactionary adjustments in the universities. Starting with the Bologna Process followed by other meetings of ministers of education from the E.U countries until the recent summit of London on May 2007 E.U has boosted at any price the privatization of universities and the intervention of capitalist businesses in this field of education.
In each country the developments regarding the universities follow in general terms the same orientation. In this respect our international meeting is an effort to facilitate the movement of youth and students at the universities in Europe to have a global view on what's going on. At the same time we think there is an urgent need to be more and deeper concerned on the content and implications for youth and working people of the reactionary E.U policy for higher education.
This meeting canl provide a good opportunity for an exchange of information on the situation in the field of higher education in our countries, on the policies promoted by E.U and IMF as well as the on the proposals and struggles promoted by our youth organizations to counter this untenable situation. Furthermore we feel that this meeting will help all of us to achieve, as quick as possible, a more stable and effective coordination of our demands, struggles and actions in the universities.

The 6th Meeting of European Communist Youth Organizations with the title "The necessity and the actual importance of October Revolution in the anti-imperialist struggle and the battle of ideas, for our future, socialism - Communist youth organizations in the front line of struggle" held on 8-9 December 2007 in Istanbul with the participation of CJC (Spain), COMAC (Belgium), JCP (Portugal), KNE (Greece), KSM (Czech Republic), RKSM-b (Russia), UJCE (Spain), YCL (Britain), Youth of TKP (Turkey) and WFDY as the observer.
